my friend was admitted in the hospital a week ago for a slip disc condition was very bad that she can't stand,sit or was told to have an operation done yesterday in the afternoon so she wasn't allowed food and visited her last night,thinking that she has already done the to my horror,she said that the nurse said that the doctor was attending to something urgent and she has to wait for further this morning i visited her again,and then i found out that she was starving for the past 21 hours!she said the doctor came by to apologize but so what?to my knowledge,patients are only not allowed to eat or drink 12 hours before was suffering from hunger and pain for 21 hours and all he could say was friend was in a B class does that mean lower class ward means lower value of lives?can somone pls give me some advice on this?thanks in advance. ~~~ C T ~~~

I know I tore the MCL Ligament and fractured the upper part of my Tibia. I was wondering if anyone else knows how long it takes to completely heal from this injury. It has now been 12 weeks, but Dr. says thats normal. Is that correct? He originally told me 8-10 wks. healing time. Anyone else know from experience? I am still having pain and swelling in my foot, leg, and knee along with pain still. Also I cannot walk yet without a limp, just wondering how long also the limp might last?
