I'm puzzled about wether extremely rude people in service jobs are usually rude to everyone, or if they're more rude to some people because of prejudice. For example last time I went to visit my parents who are around 70 in British Columbia, there were several rude and very disrespectful service people. I wonder if they don't like old people, or because we have native blood, or some people are just jerks to everyone or what. Do you think it should be mandatory? Especially with the rise of STDs? Of course the best action is to wait. But you think of regions where abstinence only is taught, it seems more kids are running around pregnant and with STDs. The fact is, biologically teens are ready to have sex. Socially, and mentally, they should not be having children. And I agree with that. But teaching what goes on, and especially the risk of STDs is something I believe should be mandatory. In February 2009, how you get reception will be changing from analog to digital. If you do not have a digital tv, you will have to buy a converter (50-80 bucks) to get reception on your analog tv. Though there was possible mention of some kind of coupon voucher to shoulder most of the cost, but how much of the cost is the question. What do you think about this? I don't know why they are doing...but with the millions of old analog tvs in the world, I think that it's kind of stupid. Buy everyone new tvs, then maybe we'll talk.
