Someone told me that the seats on a chopper cant be adjusted, not sure if thats true... I'm 5'5" also, I'm short sighted, is it possible for me to become a chopper pilot? ~~~ heinz_chan ~~~

Not only are the seats adjustable in helicopters, the pedals are adjustable in most of them as well. 5'5" is NOT too short to fly choppers; some of the best pilots I worked with were of a similar stature. It's not the size of the person but of the person's skills and attitude that determine their ability to fly choppers. And vision, as noted elsewhere, can be waivered.
