I do believe that the number one path to a career like that is the military. Talk to an Air force or Navy recruiter about that. Or there are many good aeronautical schools, Like Spartan, in OK. There's another good one in Florida, but the name escapes me...

Answer 2You'll have to go to college and flight school, but then I've never pursued this so I don't know all the steps. Also after your bachelor's degree you can apply to become an officer and a pilot in the military. Then after your commitment to uncle sam you can fly commercial because you'll have the experience. Shoot if your good enough and you fly military jets, you could apply to fly for NASA after you get out of the military. Of course you can attend college while in the military, but it's difficult especially if you get deployed. Also, you won't have much free time after work if your trying to get that bachelor's and work full time in the military too. LET ME ADD SOMETHING TO THE COMMENT ABOVE ME. YOU HAVE TO BE AN OFFICER TO BE A PILOT IN THE MILITARY. YOU CANNOT BE AN OFFICER UNLESS YOU COMPLETE AT LEAST A BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN COLLEGE. DO NOT.....I REPEAT DO NOT ALLOW A RECRUITER TO TRICK YOU INTO THINKING YOU CAN JOIN AND BECOME AN OFFICER, YOU MUST FINISH A BACHELOR'S DEGREE FIRST. While in college you can attend ROTC and be commisioned as an officer upon graduation, or if you don't attend ROTC, you can apply for OCS (Officer Candidate School) Also every branch except maybe marines and coast guard has planes and jets. You can become a jet pilot in any branch except maybe marines and coast guard.

Answer 4i guess you are an Indian..so m would suggest you to check out the Indira Gandhi Uran Akademi,which gives training to pilots in Rae is considered the best in India and currently there is quite a lot of shortage of seats in it. If you want to pursue it from abroad then you can consider NZ or Austrailia as good you decide dont just go for the schools which have opened few yrs back or have less experience,as you will be coughing quite a big amount for this. Apart from this did you have physics in your 12th grade?That is must for pilot training.
Answer 5here arethe training requirements to become a commercial pilot in india : Basic qualification for pilot training is successful completion of 10+2/equivalent with 50% marks in Physics and Maths. The applicant should have completed 17 years of age. The first step in Pilot training is acquiring of Student Pilot Licence (SPL). Thereafter he can start flight training to get Private Pilot Licence (PPL). This includes 60 hours of flying comprising 20 hours of dual flying, 20 hours of solo flying and 5 hours cross country flying. Theoretical examination's have to be passed in subjects like Air Regulation, Navigation, Aviation Meteorology, Aircraft and Engines, After PPL another 190 hours of flying training is required for Commercial Pilot's Licence (CPL) ., a consolidated 250 hours of flying training. A flight radio operators licence and radio telephone licence have to be obtained. During CPL, the candidate should have exposure to a range of aircraft and fulfill other conditions like specified hours of solo flying, cross country flying and height flying. Theeoretical papers have to be cleared and medical tests passed. It usually takes 2 to 3 years before required flying hous and classroom learning are completed. Entry to the PPL course is through an entrance test conducted at certain centres. The test is based on subjects like English, General Knowledge, Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Applications are called in April and sent to The Director General of Civil Aviation (Training Section) Technical Centre, Opp. Safdarjang Airport, New Delhi-110 003.
