i play basketball and i dont jump very high. i can only reach about 98 or so. i wanna improve a lot, i need to. what kind of training and routine do you suggest i do to improve in the least amount of time possible? ~~~ LUIS H ~~~

running, leg wieghts, and leg press. ONLY do the leg press lightly if your over 17 or 16. You can hurt yourself and your height growth.

you need to get something called jump soles which after a few weeks will give you at least 5 to 6 inches of extra vertical

the most effective jump training program is one that is customized to fit the strengths and weaknesses of the athlete. If youre young, its likely that you will benefit most from strength training. Squats are the best lower body lift. People will probably tell you to do plyometrics but this type of exercise will only be safe and effective if you have strength first. So I wish I could just give you a workout and tell you it would help, but I cant promise you anything. Theres a lot of good info at please do not get jumpsoles. They have a high risk of injury and little benefit for people who are already athletic.
