magic and spell cards are the exact same thing. for some reason they felt like changing the name, but if a card affect said something like "when this is sent from the field to the graveyard get 2 spell cards from your graveyard" you can get magic cards too

they are the same btw did u buy starter deck? becoz starter deck card hav some is magic but u can use it too spell and magic are the same
