Not come accros this before in a typical home set up. Sounds as though your machine is trying to access the web via a server (kind of a proxy). if xp go to startgt;connect togt;wireless netwrok connection. once there check your settings. on the general tab go to the properties button, then select tcp/ip in the list and select properties . there should be no info listed and the obatain ip address and dns should be selected if not then make it so if this doesn't work then reboot and open internet explorer and go to tools- internet accounts and select the connections tab. in lan setting everything should be blank. email me if you need good luck daryl ps. [please ensure that you are connected to your router and not someone elses- it does happen from time to time]

Answer 7Usually Logon Domains are primarily used in businesses, not home networks. Are you sure your connecting to your 'home' wireless router? It sounds like your laptop is picking up a signal from a nearby business that uses wireless for employee's w/laptops its trying to connect to that businesses network/domain.
