I have some acers that I would rather not mow amp; I heard you couls let it grow amp; get paid for haven it for wildlife. Does anyone know anything about this amp; what the programs are?! Thanks ~~~ bluestar_gazer82 ~~~

I have never heard of that but try googling different words about it and you should find something or try your state and environment. I know you can put up wind turbines and get money for that.

Yes I have heard of it. Wealthy New York city people who also own sizeable "camps" in upstate NY and elsewhere, receiving money to let their grass grow freely. Heres a link about it and also-

Call your local US Fish and Wildlife Service for more info. Farmers are often paid for not planting crops on certain parts of their land that they leave for wildlife. Not sure how it works for non-farmers..but I guess it is worth a try.
