Cooking Recipes : Is There Anyone Out There In The UK Who Runs A Toasted Sandwich Vanstall

I am in Norfolk/Suffolk area and would appreciate any help from people who currently run a toasted sandwich stall/van anywhere in the UK. Where do you buy your equipment/stock? How did you get funding etc etc. I am at the planning stage and could really do with any helpful tips to get me on my way. I havent seen a van that does toasted sandwiches before (am an engineer and wander round industrial estates that are populated with burger vans). For the van I would talk to a burger van owner, and perhaps also where they get their food stocks from -better a local one to you so you get a local stockist (probably a cash and carry is a good bet). For the equipment for in the van I would try a catering suppliers - see Yell or the Yellow pages

there is a place in dunstable in bedfordshire that sell custom trailers they are based in cosgrove way near dallow road but i cant remember the name of the company. along dallow road there is a cash and carry (Best Ways) i think. as regards equipment then i would suggest talking to local sand which shops in your area that sell things like panines as they use sandwich toasters. Im not sure if they are still there but there was a place in Berkhamsted Hertfordshire that was a catering shop, again may sell. If its just a case of getting of the ground then I use a George forman for my panines, and you can get sandwich toaster (brevil) from most electrical shops like Currys and Argos.
