definitely keep your stomach muscles tightly clenched, but loosen your shoulders and keep your back straight. use momentum from your body, and spot one thing in front of you, then look at it until the EXACT moment you need to snap your head around to complete one turn and begin the next. Keep your center over your feet, rather than turning with shoulders, turn with the core.

Do the 5 steps of pirouettes: in your stomach up arms strong bottom leg straight All these tips make me do 4 pirouettes. Ive gotten so you-st to doing these steps that its natural for me to do 4 turns. Hopefully these steps help you.

the best advice i have ever been given as a dancer is to, along with tightening your core muscles, lean forward just about 2 inches, so that youre sitting over your hips. a lot of times girls have a harder time turning because theyre weight isnt centered. by doing that, and spoting you should be able to turn a lot easier. ps- make sure to not lean too much forward or you will fall. good luck!! :)
