Best Answer To Do It Yourself Diy Question
If your toilet flushes with any decent power at all, the ring is most likely gone if it was in there. I've seen lots bigger stuff than a ring go thru the trap and be gone. I'd start looking for a new ring, Valentine's Day is coming up quickly.

Answer 1it wint go far just reach in and grab it
Answer 2there is a trap in the toilet. you could try to reach in and get it or take up the toilet and you will have easy access to the trap
Answer 3Thats a tough one. I would not use any water in your house at all. This will cause the reing to go further into the main sewer and it will be gone forever. Look below the toilet (in the basement, if thats the case) and look where the plumbing drains. Use common sense to where you think a single flush would have landed your ring, and see if you would comfortably remove the pipe and search. If this is uncomfortable for you, and the ring is valuavble enough, I would call a plumber
Answer 4If your toilet flushes with any decent power at all, the ring is most likely gone if it was in there. I've seen lots bigger stuff than a ring go thru the trap and be gone. I'd start looking for a new ring, Valentine's Day is coming up quickly.
Answer 5it would be worth the effort to remove the toilet and see if the ring was trapped in the internal trap. Once you have dumped the water out, you should at least here the ring within the china toilet. Good luck.
Answer 6Don't flush the toilets until your sure you either have the ring or you're going to write it off. Borrow a wet/dry shop vac and then buy some flexible hose that has no hard plastic end. You need to be able to snake it down the toilet and into the trap area. Turn the wet/dry shop vac on and suck all the water out. Now the dirt part, you need to look through the water to see if you got lucky. Most like it is gone but this way you won't have to tear the toilet out to make sure. Make sure you use a WET/DRY Shop vac. don't want to read about you in the Obit page. ;-)
