Best Answer To Weddings Question
I personally wouldnt b/c I like to plan things like these and I dont really care if the day of if things run a bit slow/fast and some things dont work out. Plus I am on a strict budget. I dont think I will but I could see myself using them the day of to co-ordinate everything in the background and to keep all the vendors in check. I could see someone with a little more money to boot (doesnt have to be lots) hiring a planner. Also if they really arent the organizing, decision-making type.

Answer 1
No never,,waste of money
Answer 2
I think you would have lots of fun coordinating a know I only problem though is people wanting to pay lots of money.
Answer 3
I used one. They had several packages available. You could hire them for the planning, day of coordination or both. We did both. The day of coordination was so worth it. I didnt have to worry about a thing, set anything up or answer questions from people. And its the first wedding rehearsal Ive ever heard of that ended 20 minutes early! The planning phase wasnt as useful with them. I had a lot of my own ideas and I didnt really use a lot of theirs. Plus, even though they were keeping track of all my contracts and payments, I needed to keep track of that as well. If I could do it all over again, I would just do the day of coordination, but I think it is important for wedding planners to offer both. Some people are really just that busy that they need more help with the planning phases.
Answer 4
I wont for two reasons. First, I couldnt afford one. Also, I want someone who knows me and my fiance personally to help with the wedding plans. My mother is doing it with me. She very excited because she only has one daughter and this is her one chance.
Answer 5
I used a weddig planner and it saved my sanity! I work full time on a very demanding job and my husband travels a lot, so neither of us had time to do all teh wedding stuff. Also, we only had 6 months to put everything together. My wedding coordinator saved my sanity, gave referrals to local vendors, trouble shoot on the day off, coordinated the musitians, payments, recived teh cake and the flowers.. She was amazing and I couldnt have done without her. Good luck

Answer 7
i have a wedding planner who is just starting her business. she has a business partner who will be asisting her. i put an ad on craiglist asking for people who were willing to help plan my wedding, for free. thing is, wedding planners are expensive and the only way someone will hire a wedding planner is if, they have a lot of money or if they are super lazy. the best thing to do is offer your services at a lower rate than the usual 10%-15% wedding planner. maybe you can get more clientele. also, dont limit urself to just weddings. do all types of events.
Answer 8
Im not using a wedding planner for my wedding. I feel its just an added expense, and they tend not to negotiate much better than the bride herself. Im a hands on kind of gal....but Im sure the higher end brides would be interested.
Answer 9
Nope I wouldnt because I would not spend that money one someone other than us! I know it is selfish but oh well!
Answer 10
Id prefer to do the planning and stuff but I would definitely hire the day of coordinator. So I wouldnt have to decorate, etc.
Answer 11
Honestly I wouldnt. I already had my wedding and really enjoyed planning it myself with the help of my mom and sister. Good luck though!
Answer 12
we considered it and then decided the money we would spend on a wedding planner could actually be used toward the wedding. It has been fun planning the wedding and it feels more personal if you do it yourself. I wouldnt like someone else to do it and I just turn up on the day. part of the excitiment is seeing all that effort coming together. Weddings in an expensive business, and wedding planners know this and charge extreme prices. The types of people who use wedding planners are either rich or lazy.
