Answer 1What for? Most teams are owned by single people or families, there isnt really a need for additional sponsorship. The commercials and stadiums have enough advertising in it.
Answer 2The commercials that are shown while the games are broadcast on tv are the companies that sponsor the teams games...
Answer 3The NFL isn't like NASCAR where every racer has to wear a suit with every company sponsoring that racer. The teams are also owned by people or families, not companies.
Answer 4Because they don't want to look like a U-12 soccer team.
Answer 5The NFL it self is a money maker... Look at it this way... The AFL has logos on there unis but when is the last time you seen someone walking around with a Tampa Bay Storm Jersey or an Orlando Predators jersey on? Now when is the last time you seen someone walking around with a Peyton Manning or LaDanian Tomlinson jersey on? You put in the revenue, merchandise, sponsorships, commercials, ticket prices, concessions profits together the NFL has NO reason for teams to have to wear patches of companies such as Aarons or Rent-a-center...
Answer 6It's going to be an ads overkill.. we have ads all over the stadium, jumbrotons, TV.. and we don't need no frigging ads on football jersey..
Answer 7There is a contract, with Rebock I think. They do all the team clothing and pay to do it. (in exchange they make "official" jerseys and such worn by fans.) So the short answer is, they do, but the NFL is so powerful you don't see it. (Although Rebock, or whomever, has their logo on every uniform.)
Answer 8I'll have to ask my husband when he gets home, he's a big football guy:)
Answer 9because they haven't completely SOLD OUT like all the other professional sport leagues Could you imagine "Here to award the Vince Lombardy, ATT, Gatorade, Super Bowl trophy is?" that wouldn't fly with me The day I see advertisements on the ivy covered walls of Wrigley field then I'm done with sports
Answer 10it would look stupid. nascar can do it because they have all that extra space on a painted car-you dont even notice them (i never felt like drinking a pepsi because of jeff gordan personally-theyre kinda useless). soccer and football jeresys look better clean like that. they have billboards around the stadium that they sell out. anything on a jersey would ruin it.
Answer 11They have the NFL logo on their jersey's. And they have their team logo on their helmet's! What more do you want!
Answer 12Your'e Totally wrong. First, most teams are owned by famillies Almost Every single team. Second, Those families are rich why do you think they own an NFL franchise!!!!, which means they do not need extra sponsor except for stadiums which in most cases the cities that they play in come to an agreement and then the teams find a sponsor to keep the maintanance. Some of the families evne own other franchise like Tampa Bay's Malcolm Glazer and his family also own Manchester United, the riches football club in the world
Answer 13They do. Addidas puts their tag on their right shoulder, and also you will see that advertiments are on the sidelines. They are just not as visible as nascar.
