Cool but distant. You werent clear about whether she was in the group you are going with or you expect to see her there. Smile at her, nod. Dont approach right away, play it cool. If you get the chance, offer to buy her a drink and make small talk. Compliment her, but in a general way. Make eye contact occasionally only. Dont ask her to dance first. Dance with a couple other people, but never more than once if you can. Ask her maybe in the middle of the night assuming she is still available.
