The weeds are a nuisance as they overtake the carpet grass and spoil the lawn. Some weed-killer kill all both the weeds and the carpet grass. Is there any chemical that can save the grass but get rid of the weeds? ~~~ James Loo ~~~

What ive used for years to get rid of weeds is the boiling water that i drain from cooking my vegetables, and that kills them right off ;)

Please do not use boiling water as that will kill the grass too. Pretty much any .D product should work such as Orthos weed be gone to name one. Just ready the label and follow it exactly. Some forms of grass do not tolerate .D as much as others so the dilution rates will vary.

Yup, trot your lil ole self down to wally world and get some Weed n Feed. Use the SWAG theory ( sophisticated wild as* guess ) to measure how many square feet you have to cover to ensure you get enough. I use it every spring on my lawn , but I see no reason you cant use it now , but check on the bag to make sure it isnt too late in the year, cause heck , who knows I could misinform you.
