Hobbies Crafts. How Do You Combine A Heap Of Little Endy Bits Of Soap Bars Together To Make Bigger More Usable Soap Bars.

I work with the Aged People in my community and have a Client who has been saving the small pieces of soap that are left over when the soap bar has been used for a while. He literally has a bucket full of it! He wants to find out how to combine all the pieces together to make larger bars. If anyone can help with simple directions I (and he...) would be very grateful. ~~~ mmlvly ~~~

You can put several chunks in the toe of a nylon stocking, tie a knot in it. I don't know if you can melt them and mold them into new bars of soap.

Answer 2

I don't know of any way to melt them down, and re-mold them, but if you soaked them in a pan with a small amount of hot water, you would think it would liquefy and then you might pour the mixture into a pump bottle if it would stay liquefied. One other way to use them is to wrap them in a piece of mesh net and tie or sew together, then use as a shower or bath scrubber. If he's been saving these for some time, they may be very hard by now and not be usable at all. If you have a Walgreen's Drug near you, they have sales occasionally for good bar soap for $.25 each. With a price like that, who should need to save them.

Answer 3

You can get a soap sock. Seen them at walmart not used one but its like a mesh bag like thing. . . I have worked with older people i know how they don't like to waste . . . Might be worth a try :)

Answer 4

if you shave it and mix it with some boiling water that will make some liquid soap. Also if you have some fresh rosemary around you can boil the rosemary and then add the soap for a shampoo (works with essential oils)

Suddenly, and without warning, bright, jagged edged lights distort your vision. Close your eyes and you can see the outline of a pattern that stands out from the black background.

Oddly enough, there's no pain YET but it's coming. Over the next few minutes or even hours, the image will slowly move across your field of vision until it disappears off the field.

When it does, the excruciating pain strikes along with nausea and intense sensitivity to light as well as other equally disturbing signs of migraine.

Did you know that migraine is a life threatening disease? It can lead to severe conditions like permanent visual loss, strokes, dental problems and even death.
