Myself and my wife is here. I want to bring my son from India. I only can apply for visa. But my profession as per iqama is finishing carpenter. What are the documents requierd and the formalities to complete for issuing visa. Thanks ~~~ Santhosh T ~~~

Santhosh, Your profession as per your Iqama is NOT permitted to bring your family under the Ministry rulings under your sponsorship. I was wondering what is the visa of your wife in Saudi? Is she under your sponsorship or she's with another employer? What's her profession in her Iqama? What other people like you is doing in Saudi is to produce a letter from the employer saying that although you're a finishing carperter as per Iqama - you're working as a supervisor (example) and is receiving a salary of say SR,5000/m. Above is applicable only if your company is going to agree. Otherwise, you have to ask your employer to change your visa classification to skilled worker at least to qualify an automatic family visa sponsorship as per saudi law. This will take long. You need to file forms DS-230 I and DS-230 II for a visa. You will need paperwork on yourself, such as your passport, permanent resident card, birth certificate, etc etc as well as your son's. Also you need some sort of evidence to establish your relationship, like a birth certificate stating that you are his father (if not you will need a paternity test) and photos of the two of you together. Also, you will need a police report/record of your son even if he is only a child. Sign all paperwork in blue ink only or they will return it. You will probably need someone to prepare this paperwork for you and to set up the complete package to ensure good results. The US is very strict and very difficult. Best of luck!
