It could be anything. Money worries, job worries, family issues.....or, it could be the dreaded "he is thinking about somebody else". Just talk to him. Communicate. Honestly, too many couples DONT and it sounds obvious, but youd be surprised how many spouses dont do this, and then wonder why problems escalate. I am a big believer in discussion. Approach him.

There are many reasons why someone goes quite... it could be stress / work / health / money...the list is endless. The only way to find out for sure ...is to ask ...find a time and place and then talk about it...but do this in a calm way...dont go in fighting or pointing a finger...do it with calmness and love. If you dont get an answer right away...then leave it for another while, then try again. Its called communicating...
Answer 10
Ask him. Tell him that unless he wants to talk about it, he can take his elsewhere to be miserable because you dont like being made to feel uncomfortable. It usually means he has something he needs to say or talk about, but he doesnt want to have to actually deal with it. It might be nothing to do with you, or he might be about to dump you. Either way tell him to get on with it because youd rather deal with the real issue than the uncomfortable silences!
Answer 11
Could be that he is worn out after a hard days working. Could be that he bought something he does not want you to know about. Could be that you have cooked him spaghetti bolognaise 3 days in a row. Could be the house is not tidy enough to his Lordships taste. Could be it is Friday and he wants to go jolling with his friends and knows if he says something he will get an earfull so he sits and sulks instead. Could be that you want to go to your parents house for the weekend and he prefers going to the gholf-course so it is back to sulking. Could be you dont jump to his every wish and command, another sulking session. Could be that he is just plain full of crap, feeling sorry for himself and back to sulking again. Men are weird.
