Mental Health : How Much House Work Can Two People Generate
I work with a woman who her and husband have an work an eight hour day (they are out all day). They live in a three bedroomed house and she is always banging on about all the housework she has to do. I don't understand and always have to bite my tongue when I get the urge to ask her exactly what all this "housework and cleaning" is. I think she has OCD. I don't agree with most of you. She is just a tidy freak who needs to seek medical help! ~~~ COOKIE ~~~

Answer 3You'd be surprised. When one person isn't pulling their weight and the other person is working full-time, plus having a life of her own on the side, it can be overwhelming.
Answer 4Unless they are total, horrendous slobs during the wee periods between being gone and "doing all this housework," beats me.
Answer 5You'd be really surprised. I just live with my boyfriend and we can make a whole lot of mess if we don't keep up with it all. If he's not helping her then she probably does have a whole lot of work to do
Answer 6you'd be surprised! I'm ALWAYS! doing housework and nothing ever seems to look any different and when it does my husband comes home and trashes the place! Pisses me off really, then he don't wanna hear my fuss about it. I tell him all the time if you don't wanna hear it then quit making messes! He is so unappreciative and disrespectful as to helping me keep it clean it makes me feel like, "why do i even try"! Not to mention I have a 7 yr old and 2 yr old that sees the way he is, so therefore, if they see him doing it then why can't they? That's what really makes me mad is he doesn't understand why I'm on him all the time bout picking up after himself. We are the parents and are suppose to be setting an example for the kids, but I guess since he is a man he doesn't understand that part!
