Other Politics Government : What Can We Do As Individuals To Highlight The Plight Of The Tibetians During The Beijing Olympics
The recent murders and repression of the Tibetians in China has been in the news lately. The Tibetians and various sympathetic groups in the world are organising events this year leading up to the Olympics, to highlight the various human rights abuses occuring regularly. So how can we send a message to the Chinese Government that their behaviour is not acceptable? Any ideas? One German athlete has suggested that his fellow athletes wear protest bracelets to be worn at all events and especially at medal ceremonies. Well considered, thoughtful ideas are appreciated. ~~~ Zed ~~~

Not sure. I like the German athletes idea though. I wish our Current Administration had a back bone and would boycott the opening ceremony. Then again, Bush isn't exactly the most moral, and caring person.

Answer 5While an Indian footballer(Bhutia) has refused to carry the torch, the current Indian government which is covertly pro-Pakistan will not allow this to happen, since China is Paki ally Hence Muslims (and/or Sikh) might probably end up carrying the torch thru India. Hindus, atleast not ones brainwashed by Muslim propaganda, support suffering tibetians entirely. After all, we have suffered similarly under Muslim rule in the recent past
