Alpha hydroxy acids r also called AHAs. (they are natural fruit acids...) They help to get ridda wrinkles by removing dead skin cells on your epidermis (outer layer 'o skin). They also help remove acne smooth and tone your skin. in addition to that, just as u said they speed cellular renewal, or stimulate new cell production (growing new skin cells --new skin cells mean smoother skin--).
