It is the first time I have come across this gesture as well, but your description of her actions clearly define the vulgarity and the manner in how it was achieved. I would be quite disturbed by this action, but, would equally ask her what does she mean by this. Should your thoughts concur that her actions were descending I would inform her of how disappointed I am in her manners. And, would therefore ask her to amend her behaviour and to act and conduct herself in a professional manner whilst at work and in the company of other work colleagues. What she does outside of work is no business of ours, so long as she doesnt continue with that behaviour at work.
