I have a feeling that mankind, directly or indirectly, created more than % of all problems on earth, big or small, solved or unsolved. I hope Im wrong, otherwise human life is such a worthless ridiculous game. Gotta add that "human life is such a worthless ridiculous game" is not due to mankinds cycle of problem creation and solution alone. And by "problem" i mean problem in the most general sense, not particularly environmental ones. ~~~ Hoomann N ~~~

Do you need a numerical answer to this? Yes, humans create lots of problems - but too many to count. But the environment in which we live also poses a number of problems. We have found solutions to some, such as shelter, food, clothing and so forth. We have also solved problems posed by some environmental diseases and hazards. We continue to face problems from both humans and the environment. Now, if you come back with the risposte that the environment is being altered by humans, I will partially agree, but I am sure you get the frift of my answer.

1 big problem presented by nature, countless - and i mean COUNTLESS small problems created by man. edit: Elmina - actually, nature isnt that unforgiving. Man originated in a place near the equator, where most of the time the nights were cool and the days were hot. Its easy to think of neanderthals jumping about in the forests, scraping together a living, but while they were doing that the people down in places near the equator were thriving.

i go with "elminas" answer. The huge mistake/problem of Global warming,although caused by man,could well have been "a worthless,ridiculous game",as you call it. But did anyone knew of this before it happened? Whether they did or whether they did not,its our problem now-100% our problem now,too! So ,as I see it,together we have here an example where nearly all of global warming was ridiculously and extravagantly caused by human life;Yet now we-silly,worthless us-we have the clear problem before our very eyes;and 100% before our eyes,so to repeat(!) So dont "be down";dont say that on the offchance that you(like any of us)may be "wrong","human life is such a worthless ridiculous game(or thing)". It are not;neither is ur opinion or your undoubted expertise/wisdom.
