This happened to my preschool about 3 years ago. Basically we talked to the children about how we were going to get a brand new preschool, and that all the teachers, as well as the children would be going to the new place. Where possible we got the children to help pack some things into boxes, to make them a part of the process. We also read stories about moving house, and compared it to that. Because the staff were there, we found that the children coped suprisingly well with the relocation, much better than we had anticipated.... and were very excited by their new playground!

Answer 1huh?
Answer 2Go on an outing with the children and walk to the new centre, before you go explain that you are moving soon to a new daycare, everything will be new and exciting, make it fun. Come back and get them to draw the new centre. This will at least get them used to the idea. As long as the staff and their friends stay constant, they will probably hardly notice in a few days.
Answer 3take the children for a walk and point out changes in the neighbourhood and then explain other kinds of changes like school changing grades etc
