I know you don't enjoy it, but you're quite lucky. My parents completely ignore me. My father is always working or making business deals, and my mother is always out shopping or spending time with her friends. It's just my brother and me all alone in our house most of the time, and this is only because we moved to America. Before, my brother and I were shipped off to boarding school because our parents didn't feel like spending time with us. You are so lucky. I would kill for parents like yours. Just explain to them that while you love them, you need some time to yourself. Maybe you could suggest that you all set aside a few hours of time each day to spend together, and they let you hang out and do your own thing for a while too. Good luck with your parents, but don't forget how lucky you are that your parents love you.

Answer 1dont sit in your room all the time. if you like your time alone, do it somewhere else, like a library or community center. No "responsible" or "concerned" parent is gonna let their child just sit up in there room and be alone all the time. I dont think what your parents are doing are wrong but if your in the house, they can do what they want. So go out. Find some place just for you. Better yet, why dont you just talk to them. Let them know how you feel, if you can. Set a time when you will come out your room and yall can talk or watch . or go to the store or something together.
Answer 21 word: Communications. It is all about communications. Just a suggestion maybe you guys could stay in one room together instead, like living room. So dad can watch TV, while mom beside him. And while you listening to music at the corner. So you guys could do your own stuff yet still have a small conversation since you're in one room with them.
Answer 3you should be happy and proud.. a lot of children are being neglected by their parents due to long hours of work... spend time with them...
Answer 4Have you told them all you want is to be left alone..? They might be ok with it... Im sorry your dad is lonely BUT he is GROWN man and should not be trying to find comfort in his child.. Doesn't he want to spend time with his wife..yoru mom.. At least you mom likes you.. gross I know but maybe it will pass.. If all else fails.. when your mom trys to spend time with you start crying over and over again... 'leave me alone...all I want is to be left alone".. That might work too,..
Answer 5Enjoy it, they won't be around forever!! Some kids would kill for parents like yours...they obviously care about you,,,and,,,explain to them you need some alone time...
Answer 6Hug your mom, tell her that you love her, show her what you are doing and ask her to let your have some alone time for a little while. Make a point of spending time with your parents, too. Ask your mom to help you with something, help her clean house, or just bake cookies together. This will make the time you need alone more tolerable for your mom.
Answer 7Let them down easy: I love you guys, but I'd like a little privacy now. Everyone who has answered is right - you are very lucky to have parents who love you and want to spend time with you. But you do need your space. And maybe encourage them to spend time with each other?
