My daughter is invited to a classmate's birthday party. It's a bowling party and most of the class is invited. She says her classmate is rather quiet and a bit shy. We don't know what gaming system he has or what his hobbies are. We're thinking of spending around $35 to $40. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what gift to get him? ~~~ Lisa M ~~~

You can never go wrong with vouchers. Your daughter's friend can choose what he wants to spend the vouchers on and he wont be disappointed. It's a lot safer as well. It could be CD or clothing vouches. ...

Answer 1when I can't think of a gift for people (ok this sounds strange) I go to the section of lamps in wal*mart and find a really cool and neat lamp thing for their room. I got my friend who is much like the boy you descirbed, a really neat fiber-optic lamp that stands about 4-5 ft tall and changes colors and I got her a poster, a can of silly string, and baked her a bunch of cookies...she LOVED it!!!!.
