Ive always loved tennis and football but the sport that im really good and best at is Tennis, i play amatuer and im at the top of my game but i want to become pro, anyone know? i come from Peterborough. ~~~ TK ~~~

join the USTA, participate in the open tournaments (not satallite). if you fail to go past the 2nd round in the open tournaments, then you have to go back down to the satallite tournaments. if you dont do well in the satallite tournaments, chances are you will never become a pro. if you do well in the open tournaments, you will get points for your ranking. keep boosting those point by winning matches and eventually youll get invited to the nationals. it also depends on your age and what your level is. many people overrate themselves so be realistic. ask your coach and have an honest conversation about your dream of being a professional tennis player.

Youll need a lot of money because in this country you dont get free coaching. Youll also need to travel all over the country to take part in loads of tournaments - thatll cost you loads of money and time. We went through this when our son was 11/12 - he got picked for the county squad and had to attend extra coaching sessions at about £10 an hour (and that was 8 years ago). You should also learn to spell - its Professional (1 F and 2 S), and Amateur.

Well im from India n donno bout Peterborough, but i can tell u how to become a pro. tennis player! I would jus tell u de way i did! At first play with a retired kinda player n then show ur abilities n tell him or her bout ur intension in tennis n de job is done! its de easiest way! hope u got my point! As that player is retired he will be knowin all the other players n also selecters for small games and all! So you can build strategy and easily come up in de game! n now i play for my state n hope to go further! well it will take a realli short time n proof im jus 17!
