He should be a 200+ consecutive (around 240 weeks max) weeks as male No. 1 player in tennis. With the way hes playing, at the top of his game, no one close right now can dislodge him from No. 1 even Nadal. Maybe the only way they can dislodge him from the top is if he suffered an injury for about half a year. His 190 consecutive weeks at the top is already an all-time best.

Pretty sure hes guaranteed till the end of October. Of course, if hes still number one after the Masters Cup (mid-November) hell get around 6 weeks without even playing. Nadals chances of taking over are minimal now after his generally disappointing NA hard court season. I fully expect Federer to reach 208 (four consecutive years). To the people speculating about records...160 was the previous consecutive weeks by Jimmy Connors, thats gone. Overall record 240 or 250 would still leave him behind Connors, Lendl and Sampras.
