get there as soon as possible. go on sunday if you can. i promise you its the best experience ever. getting centre court tickets is a magical time. dont worry about a few hours. dont worry about losing a day at work. go now. do an inflatable mattress. an umbrella. a bottle of wine or 6 even. park yourself on that pavement and get in . its unforgettable. good luck and enjoy

The earliest is , I would say the latest advisable time is at 11pm Do be warned that you will be woken up by the stewards at 6am - so good sleep is essential and do ignore these cynical posters who tell you to watch it on TV...Wimbledon is a must go event in anybodys lifetime
