ahh there is one way bud.. press the home key while in the game go to the bottom under remote options and turn it down to the LAST dot not all the way off, then it will be really low but the music will overpower the sound... in english turn down the wii remote volume to the last dot

I dont think you can that sound is put in there on purpose to let you know that you missed a note. I would say just turn down the volume on your V.
