Wrestling. What Is Your Current Intepretation Of Benoit.

Anyone here lost respect for him as a person? I have. I'm going by police reports that was confirmed that he killed his wife and child. I can't believe a dude of his calibur would do this. He did though. What I'm trying to find out is why do many people believe he didn't do it? What's the other logical choice? There is none in my mind. I heard a robber conspiracy, but no signs of force entry. Poisoned by an intruder, But poison just doesn't take over the body, I still think they had time to call 911 if that did happen. His wife was found tied up. How do you explain this? There's no reason to kill innocent people, but yet some fans are excusing his actions. I can't believe this. What is the world good for. I read on yahoo answers taht some dummy put "Even if he did do it, He must've had a good explanation" wtf kind of person says this? The audacity. ~~~ Yungy ~~~

Answer 1

my interpretation is to forget about it and move on

Answer 2

he's a failure in wrestling history.

Answer 3

I did lose some respect for him. I dont doubt that he did it, I just cannot figure out why. What made him to this to his wife and kid? He just was not that sort of person.

Answer 4

all the steroids took a toll on his brain, i think.. .P.

Answer 5

No i do not respect benoit as a person but as a wrestler i do because he still had a great career no matter what else he did outside the ring.

Answer 6

I don't really care either way, but my first thought was the guy's brain was messed up from steroids. Then there's always the chance he found out his wife was cheating or something like that. Whatever the explanation, there is no excuse for murdering someone.

Answer 7

I'm pretty much shocked and think that what he did was really messed up. Who kills their own son? But. The investigation's still not over..

Answer 8

I started to get a bit teary-eyed after reading the original news stories and hearing about how investigators found the little boy in his room, strangled, asphyxiated, etc. to death, with pictures of his daddy on his walls and all of his mini-wrestler action figures and pretend champion belt. It is so sad that this little boy was killed by his own father. How any person could kill their spouse, I don't know. Just like the Laci/Scott Peterson case, it was a cold-hearted deed. But for a parent to kill their own child just seems so much harder to imagine. I think some people are in denial that something like this could happen within a famous person's family. Other people who don't think he did it or are excusing his actions are insane sadists, perhaps. Speaking of excuses, there is NO excuse for people to be defending this type of behavior. The news stations have all said that no illegal drugs or steroids were found in the home, but I know that even people on prescription-strength Prednisone steroids can get aggressive and seem "super-; This was no doubt a crime committed while under the influence of heavy steroids. This behavior is abnormal and takes some motive. Steroids provide the energy to suddenly have a motive to kill. I feel so sorry for that family. Imagine how people like the grandparents must feel.

Answer 9

i have respect for the chris benoit character, but i have lost all respect for the man, anyone who is cowardly enough to smother a 7 yr old boy with fragile x disease in his sleep is a waste of life and should have no right to be here.
