Yahoo Music : How Can I Play My Favorite Artist On LAUNCHCAST Radio

I have signed up for the service. I cannot seem to get Shakiras songs to play (I have made her my top artist, etc.) - only rarely do they play. Is there a way for me to get Launchcast to play more of her songs? Right not it only plays her songs one in a thousand times (or less). Thanks. ~~~ inquisitor ~~~

Launchcast is specifically designed NOT to be a "music on demand" service, and by that they mean the ability to have it play just what you want it to play. Launchcast has "variety" rules built into it to prevent any one artist from playing "too often". Generally, about the best you can do is to hear just a couple of songs per day by any given artist, and often not even that many as you have discovered. The reason they designed Launchcast this way has to do with royalty payments to the record companies. The royalties are a lot lower for a radio-like service versus a music-on-demand service. Yahoo had a music-on-demand service that WOULD let you play whatever you want. It was called Yahoo Music Unlimited, but they recently sold it to Rhapsody.
